Literature can be a powerful tool for teaching children how to view the world through spiritual lenses. I bring a stack of books home from the library every week to read with my children and sometimes I find a real gem for teaching moral or spiritual lessons. One week I chose a book by Chris Van Allsburg titled The Stranger.
